Nationally syndicated talk host and professor Rob Redding takes on racism in dating/hookup apps like Grindr. His new bestseller The Professor: Witnessing White Power ponders the positives of reduced marginalization due to racism when some interracial relationships between guys on these apps and beyond happened.

His trailblazing book the Professor details how gay interracial relationships and sex encounters have shaped black power. Specifically, the Professor shockingly details the gay sex lives of Jean-Michel Basquiat, James Baldwin, Marvin Gaye, Richard Pryor and Malcolm X. It promises to contain explosive new information about Basquiat’s relationship with Klaus Nomi.” Much of the book works from Jane Ward’s book ‘Not Gay: Sex between Straight White Men’” Redding said. “Ward, who is a lesbian, writes about gay sex power exchanges between white men. The Professor explores how gay interracial relationships and encounters may have empirically had and may continue to have an impact on the black community to this day.”

Redding has a Master’s in Communication and has taught at Pace and City Tech universities in New York. He has published 10 consecutive bestselling books. He has also been published in the Journal of Black Studies, profiled in the American Philosophy Association and the New York Times. He has been voted one of the top 100 talk show host by Talkers magazine for his daily show now distributed to listeners in more than 20 states at ReddingNewsReview.com
