Join psychotherapist and sex therapist Dr. David Fawcett as he shares selections from his new book Lust, Men, and Meth: A Gay Man’s Guide to Sex and Recovery and outlines a post-meth pathway to healthy sex and intimacy.
Based on years of clinical research and practice, Lust, Men, and Meth explains the perils of the “perfect storm” of methamphetamine, high-risk sex, and HIV, and how it has created an epidemic within the gay community. Fawcett will reveal how the drug commandeers desire by fusing an altered state with heightened sexuality. Most important, Lust, Men, and Meth offers hope, by describing a clear path to recovery and the restoration of healthy sex and intimacy.
Following a brief presentation, the author will have a discussion with audience members. Refreshments will be served and David will sign copies of his book.
