The Bi Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss bi-themed books and the issues they raise.
Dinner after nearby (so far, we always go to Village Den.)
Shakespeare’s Sonnets tell the story of a bisexual love triangle, which scholars think was an episode from Shakespeare’s own life. Think bisexuality is new? Let’s read this and discover a piece of our bisexual heritage from more than four centuries ago: the 1590’s. (The Folger Library edition provides an explanation of each sonnet in modern English.)
Come and join the discussion, even if you haven’t read the book. We take turns reading passages aloud from the book and discuss them-anyone can participate!
Please purchase your copy of Shakespeare’s Sonnets (Folger Library edition) from the Bureau!
Suggested donation of $5 to benefit the Bureau. No one turned away for lack of funds.
