A couple of the first thoughts Morgan Boecher had when coming out as a trans guy were:

2. Well, I now have a cool story to tell.

After that, he wrote a comic. Morgan, creator of What’s Normal Anyway: a comic about being trans male, reads funny and heartfelt scenes from his comic, published by Kickstarter and now Scout Publishing, at this book launch party. What’s Normal Anyway discusses the trans male experience through the story of Mel, who takes the big risk of being himself and transitions from female to male. Morgan Boecher has been making comics about all sorts ever since he was a youngster in Florida. His educational focuses were in anthropology, social work, and traveling the world. Now living in the New York City area, he uses his learning to market music festivals and create art.
