The Bureau to remain at Cage for all of 2014!

We are happy to announce that we will remain at Cage for the entirety of 2014! Having a stable location will enable us to make long-term plans for events with queer authors, poets, artists, activists, scholars, and groups. You can look forward to more book launches, readings, discussions, film screenings, performances, open-mic nights, workshops, and exhibitions. We welcome your proposals! The Bureau is nothing without your participation.

In the new year we plan to make a number of improvements to the Bureau at Cage. We will add street signage for greater sidewalk visibility and give some loving attention to the Bureau’s interior. We also hope to add a small café bar, which will make the Bureau a destination for queers and friends looking to read, write, relax, meet, and socialize even when we don’t have events. Thank you to all of you who contributed to our fundraising campaign earlier this year! Your support makes all of this possible.

Speaking of supporting the Bureau, did you know that you can set up a recurring monthly donation or make a one-time donation on the Bureau’s member page on Fractured Atlas? It’s true! The Bureau is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. So contributions for the purposes of the Bureau of General Services—Queer Division (BGSQD), are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We very much appreciate your support.
